Those all sound like great mechanics both for gameplay and as a game dev challenge, go for it!
So after I completed this course, I started to dive deeper into Unity. I started to learn about DOTS and ECS. Would those features greatly benefit this type of game? Does Total World Liberation use/plan to use DOTS or ECS and would you recommend people like me attempt to integrate that technology into a turn-based game? Or does that tech really benefit more real-time, game with more entities?
