Orc Textured

I have to start a new project tomorrow but I figured I would share how far I got with my orc. I tried Substance 3d Painter for the first time today. I used it for all of the character baking and texturing. It has quite the learning curve.

On this model I struggled with:
Clean topology
Appropriate scale in some areas
Rogue vertices
Sculpting anomalies
Unsure how else to do eyes beside blender

Overall I’m pretty happy with how things turned out for this model. I look forward to picking it back up for rigging and animation.

Please provide any constructive criticisms, I aim to improve!

That’s a cool looking orc. I like the squarish head, it gives it a unique style. Nice sculpts on the body, too.

I am not an expert but for a fairly complex character the mesh looks pretty regular and neat with nearly all quads. Textures also look good like a painted tin-lead figurine. The head is fearsome and a novel shape.
Well sculpted musculature. The whole shebang! Well done!

good job, the proportion of hand is bigger as compared to arm, or you made it like that?

Thanks for all the feedback!
The topology I had issues with was the poles and how to direct edge flow smoothly. Sometimes adding insets caused difficulties elsewhere. Topology is going to be something I’ll have to practice a lot.

For the hands, I decided to go big; maybe a bit too big. I like the goofy looking orcs like in the Warhammer universe. However, I think I should’ve gone larger on the belt buckle and shoulder plate. Maybe it would help tie the character together a little more. Here are some of the references I chose:
