Been thinking about theme, I wanted something weird for my world, and so I’m thinking about onirism. Not surreal, or more specifically I’m not gonna base the world on whatever Dali and other surrealist painters did, neither on surrealist writers (which I know none). It’s more like the kind of dreams I have, they feel real but also uncanny. And when I wake up I just think “well! that doesn’t makes sense at all!”
If anything, maybe more like Un Chien Andalou (more Dali…), where it resembles more reality. Maybe distort it progressively as you advance in the game.
I might also attempt doing some automatic writing, which I just found was a thing. Or maybe if I can gather some friends, make an exquisite corpse. But anyway.
Four words: Oniric, uncanny, progressive change.
