I found it actually nice to have the difference that you couldn’t destroy bushes with the arrows and had to switch to the sword instead. I think this could give it an interesting element if you also had flying enemies later on that could pass over them and might require you to shoot them down, and some level design that would force the player to strategically switch back and forth between sword and bow to make their way through extensive lumps of shrubbery while having to defend against attacking flying enemies at the same time…
One could still have a different type of bushes later on that would do exactly that…
And perhaps even some more sturdy shrubbery that would require the player to wield an axe, that might make a quick job of them but would be impractical for combat… Maybe even have a damage value of 0
for attacking but could still destroy the flora…
Of course, none of that would be diffiicult to add later on as a personal touch on the project…
