Last time I posted something here was October 2018, so I’m just crossing my fingers and praying I am putting this thread in the correct place.
Either way, I’ve been loving this course. I really wish I could take an in-person class with Michael, because he’s everything I love in a teacher (unlike at my local college).
Anyway, so to start off, here’s my lamp in general.
Then we have the animation done as part of the lectures:
I did it at a bit of an odd frame size, but the main goal was getting a small video pumped out quickly.
So after that, I decided that I could take it up a notch. So after four long days of rendering around the clock, I finally have finished this:
Definitely not perfect, especially as I winged it vs. an actual story board style approach, but I definitely learned a lot about Blender optimization and render farming. So overall, it was a good learning moment…or rather days…watching it render…but now I’m free to continue on to the next section on the fluffy bunny!
