Note:
To Rotate if you have a three button mouse, click on the middle mouse button and move the mouse.
If you have a Mac book and not a three-button mouse, toggle the ‘emulate 3 button mouse’ to be on in File -> User Preferences ->. After that click on alt and move three fingers to rotate the object.
