Not able to drag font into Assets

I downloaded a font but am not able to drag it to Assets. What could be wrong?

Hi,

Check the filename extension. Is your font asset supported by Unity?

Yes. It’s .otf file. I downloaded from dafont.com that Rick introduced. Strange.

Try to download it again. And if that still doesn’t work, download another file and try to import that. If that still doesn’t work, close Unity and open it with administration rights. Also make sure that no antivirus program or firewallare blocking Unity.

Im having the same issue. I downloaded the venus rising font from dafont.com just as rick did. the file will not drag into the assets window.

ah, nevermind, if you open the zip file in windows it shows the files, but apparently you cannot simply drag out of this window directly. I dragged to the desktop first, then into unity, and it worked.
