Normal Map Is Multicolored & Not Working In Shader Editor

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to figure out what went wrong with my normal map. I believe I followed every step, however; while Grant’s normal map is mostly blue, mine is multicolored. Also, when I plug in the map into the Shader Editior, my lowpoly doesnt look like my high poly.

Below is my plug in’s:

Below is what my normal map looks like:

Wow that is neon, use it as a colour map!

Did you use any extrusion in the bake settings?

General Q&A note
Help us all to help you.
Please give full screenshots with any questions. With the relevant panels open.
Also, include the lecture time and name/number that is relevant to the problem/issue.
The screenshot can be done by Blender itself, via the ‘Window’ menu bar top left hand side.
On that menu drop down is ‘save screenshot’.
Close ups additionally where they help.

I re-did the bake for the normal map and it came out the right color! Progress!

However; even though I think the normal map looks correct now, the high poly model is still not showing when I plug in my map on my low poly model

Any ideas on what could be glitching it up?

Thanks for any assistance

You can’t see materials in solid shading, you need to change it to material preview or rendered with the buttons in the top right corner of the viewport.
