So I didn’t use the low poly pawn. I’ve gone with the higher poly pawn, for now. Depending on where the lectures take us for this section I’ll go back and change if needed. Yes that, could be a lot of work, but that just means more practice. And as my wife says “Practice makes practice”, which translated means, “Practice makes better”.
I also archived everything first, even the pawn, then appended everything to a truly new scene. I’ll wait to see if that makes a difference too.
