Next Step

Ben said to post the next step we would take.

The next step for me would be to fix a y Range error that I’ve had for several days now. The ship can move up out of the scene. Adjustments to the y Range to stop this make it so that the ship cannot move lower than the middle of the screen.

After I fail to fix that the next step would be to make the player collide with the terrain.
Then make it so that the player can explode on contact and respawn.
Then turn that off for now and then get the weapons/projectiles shooting and colliding.

Then you move onto what happens when they collide with obstacles, terrain and/or then enemies that currently don’t move.
