Need some help with a pur

Recently got a pack of 50 seamless fabric brushes from blender market, but unlike other brush packs that come with a .blend file you can append, these came in 4 zip files for the following categories… PSD.zip (50 photoshop files), BMP.zip (50 BMP images), TIF.zip (50 tif files) and NORM.zip (50 png images).

How do I use these? Do I only have to use one set? Do I use all 4 for each brush? Can I load them all at once or do I have to make them 1 at a time?

I am not very experienced at blender, so the bulk of the steps below I got from research on the issue you are having:

It seems like you’ve purchased a set of seamless fabric brushes that come in various file formats. The process of using these brushes in Blender can vary slightly depending on the type of files provided. Here’s a general guide on how you can use these brushes:

Method 1: Using the BMP, TIF, and NORM Files

  1. Extract the Zip Files:
  • Extract the contents of BMP.zip, TIF.zip, and NORM.zip to a location on your computer.
  1. Importing into Blender:
  • Open Blender and go to the “Texture Paint” workspace.
  • In the “Texture Slots” panel, click on “New” to create a new texture slot.
  • In the “Type” dropdown, choose “Image or Movie.”
  • Click on the “Open” button to browse and select the BMP, TIF, or NORM file for the specific brush you want to use. Repeat this step for each brush you want to use.
  • Adjust the settings like brush mapping and influence according to your needs.
  1. Painting:
  • Now, you can start painting on your 3D model using these brushes.

Method 2: Using PSD Files

  1. Extract the PSD Files:
  • Extract the contents of PSD.zip to a location on your computer.
  1. Convert to Image Files (Optional):
  • If the PSD files contain multiple layers for different textures, you may want to export them as separate image files (e.g., PNG) using an image editing software like Photoshop.
  1. Importing into Blender:
  • Follow the steps mentioned in Method 1, but this time, choose the PNG or JPEG files you exported from the PSD files.
  1. Painting:
  • Start painting on your 3D model using these brushes.

Additional Tips:

  • You don’t necessarily need to use all four sets of files for each brush. Typically, one set (either BMP, TIF, or NORM) is sufficient for a brush to work.
  • Loading them one at a time might be necessary, depending on how the brushes are organized and provided. If there’s a specific .blend file or a script provided, follow the instructions in the documentation that came with the brushes.

Always refer to any documentation or instructions provided by the creator of the brushes, as they might include specific details on how to use them effectively in Blender.

I hope this helps!
