I have first 2 times normal result, but with some artifacts.
Then I saw advice to play with extrusion. For to fix artifacts.
And this problem happened.
Back to Extrusin 0, not help.
When i baking, all time that result.
Reboot Blender or creating new image texture, also don`t help.
Changing type of margin to
Blender 3.1

Perhaps the node set up might show something?
Did you have both HP and LP selected?

General Q&A note
Help us all to help you.
Please give full screenshots with any questions. With the relevant panels open.
Also, include the lecture time and name/number that is relevant to the problem/issue.
This can be done by Blender itself, via the ‘Window’ menu bar top left hand side.
On that menu drop down is ‘save screenshot’.
Close ups additionally where they help.

Hi there. i also had quite a hard time with baking…
the picturw you show, looks to me more like a cavaty map not a uv map, but if you are still in the normal map, you dont know yet what the difference is. dont worry, it will not become more easy :relaxed:
yea, NP5 also suggested me one to describe better with pictures. so i sended a lot, and it was helpful. with more pics he could assist me much better. so for every step a description and a screenshot. because there are sooo many ways one can make mistakes…

When I rebooted my laptop, all be OK

If someone has a weak PC and they encounter this problem, restart the your PC or laptop

Great you found out what sorted it out. Was looking hard to see anything set wrong!
Another ‘try this’ to add to the mental list when presented with baking issues!
