Need help: Normal Map Baking

So I’ve done everything according to the lesson, but it seems that blender bakes a normal map for low-poly model instead of HP. Can’t fing any reasoning for it, shade smooth is on for both models, selection order is right


Try using a little of the extrusion parameter, just above the Ray Distance one. It was introduced after the lecture was made if I recall rightly, and it is a big help to baking.

How does it work exactly? Should it be higher than max ray distance?
