N=Cannon Materials

I have followed the lesson on building the projectile cannon step by step but my chosen materials seem not to come through. Instead of metal, I appear to have a stone cannon.

additionally, ver 4.27 doesn’t seem to have the same options you’ve advised to have unchecked…

Did you look in the collapsed sections in Mesh, Miscellaneous and Material. The little down arrow at the bottom of each section indicates more options.
