On game start, the zombies spawn clipped halfway through the ground.
I have no idea why this could be happening as they walk normally once triggered to move and attack but when they have spawned, they’re halfway in the ground.

How do you spawn the zombies? Are they above the terrain and falling down when the game starts? Or do they get spawned in the ground?
When I place them in the scene, they are placed above the ground, but as I press play they start in the ground. Once they attack, the rest of the movement is normal.
Have you already tried to recalculate the navmesh?
The problem in this thread looks like yours. Test the suggested solution.
I found the solution. I had the wrong idle animation in place causing the zombie to clip into the ground.
