This is my take on the wizard workshop where our trusty little warlock gazes at the stars.
It just feels nice and cosy there, don’t you think ?
My customizations
I used a noise texture to create a very basic starry background and the roof just felt a little empty so I added some more details there as well.
The arcane rings are brushes by our friends at Obsidian Dawn (they wish to be credited) and I feel like they are way too present in the final render – they didn’t come out at all the way I wanted. They were supposed to look like little sparkles of star dust emitting a faint light but couldn’t get that to work.
I’d like to give a huge shout and thanks to @Grant_Abbitt for your work.
I really enjoy following your tutorials, I very much like your approach to teaching and your artistic low-poly universe. This is not the first time I follow your tutorials, but I had loads of hobbily-wobbily fun on this one and it made me want to go through and publish to this community.
Keep up the great work, I’ll be sure to follow more !
In fact, I feel like letting this one be for now and checking out your course on rigging.
Tweaking further just doesn’t seem worth the time spent. I might come back to fix those arcane rings if I ever learn how to get the result I wanted.
