My workflow for my windows was:
- I created a cylinder, first I did it with the 32 segments but that didn’t get it to look that good so I doubled that.
- In edit mode I removed the bottom half of the cylinder and filled it in so I got the bottom shape correct.
- With proportinal editing I moved the top edge upwards until I got a shape I was happy with
- I beveled the edges around the bottom because I didn’t like the sharp cut it made
- With a boolean modifyer I selected the cylinder, then I also applied it because I wanted to be able to get the shape out from edit mode.
The bricks:
- I copied the bricks from the door.
- I got the profile for the window. I tried with the whole way around first but I didn’t like that look so I removed the bottom edge and tried again, this time I got more satisfied with the result.
And because I can’t get fit curve to work as intendend on the array modifier it lead to a happy accident where the length was a bit long but I like the way that looked.
For the bottom part of the window frame
- I copied that face from the windows and scaled it out and up
- I beveled the edges to get it more similar to how the bricks looked.
- I made a copy of the bricks. Then scaled them up a little bit. Then used that scaled up version to bevel the window frame
