Project completed. I worked at it several times, the mouse wheel, is not my usual method of zooming in and out, so I am working on those more basic skills, and mastering the steps that are taught as they are presented. I made four of the wedges before I was satisfied that I had the basic understanding of what went where, how and why. This class is excellent for someone with a zero skill set in Blender and in 3-D Modeling.
