Google PlayStore Link: Fire Blade X
I decided to make laser defender into a full(ish) game for the android. It was an experiment to see if I could do it, to see how easy it was to make something for android, to discover how to use google store, and so forth.
It was a lot easier and conversely a lot harder than I thought it would be. Got some good feedback on r/gamedev and made some changes from that. All in all, I’ve learnt a hell of a lot, especially in regards to unity and android.
I also learned I don’t have the first clue about how google play store actually works, how to get people to actually find you or want to download what you’ve done. Quite possibly it is because my version of laser defender is fairly generic looking and ASO may play a hand as well. But I am just guessing!
Still, I am (quite possibly unjustifiably) really proud to have turned it into a completed game. And really put a lot of hard work into it.
Anyway- Enough rambling from me…
