My Toy Plane

Ok so I went a bit overboard. I like to dive in. Only thing that was a real issue and I’m not a fan of is that you can’t grab all vertices in a loop and snap them to the same point on an axis. It might be there but I haven’t figured that out just yet. The jet is a little choppy. I didn’t use a guide, I just went free form. The boolean operation in the modifier stack was giving me some arguments. Don’t know why.

Nice plane.

Your outliner window looks to be showing only one object (other than the lamp and camera). The boolean operation requires two different objects to function.
If you extruded the plane from a single cube object you would not be able to use the boolean.
If you have multiple objects which have been joined to a single object you would not be able to use the boolean.

I had two objects. I just merged them by a different method.
