Good first go. You even added some variety to the shingles.
I would suggest, however, that you had one more strip of wood to hold up the bottom shingles. Right now they are “floating” at the bottom without that support.

There nothing stupid about your well!
- Good composition (in the middle of the screen, because it’s the subject)
- Good camera height (Person view)
- Experimenting with light, works well.
- Nice randomly placed tiles, which adds details to the scene.
Overall a very good challenge example, well done!
