I’m really proud of the solution I came to for the ScoreMaster challenge. Unfortunately not only is it not as elegant as Ben’s, but because it consists of loops inside the loop, it takes up a lot of space and doesn’t fit into Instacode’s window. And what does is too small to read. I still like that I could figure a solution out that passed all the golden tests on the first try, but obviously I need to work on spotting those places where things can be made simpler. It never occurred to me to go through the loop in twos, or that you could “look ahead” in a list. I’m definitely going to remember those patterns for the future though.
