My Room

Here’s a space station room I created using lessons learned in this course.

This is part of the room rendered with cycles.

And here’s the same shot in Blender Render.

The details on the walls are created with bump maps although I use normal maps on almost everything else. Also in Blender Render bump and normal maps seem to treated as the same thing.

And while I was creating clutter for the room I got a little distracted making this futuristic pistol. The top is the high poly model, and the bottom is the low poly version. And yes I realize I forgot to add a trigger, but this was just meant to be clutter.

And finally here is a short animated tour of the whole room. I used Blender Render for this since Cycles would have taken way to long. Which is a shame, because in my opinion Cycles handles normals and lighting better.
