for now I thought I would make it simple, and just have the player search for keys. The exit is missing a gear. to get the gear and exit, the player must find a key on the table, then get into an office where he plays the BullCowgame, to get the password for the lift. Once the lift ascends, he can grab an extra gear, and then place it near the exit so that the door will open.
I tried out evernote. The image looks fine on my phone, but on the computer it looks washed out and hard to read.
