Thank you! I hope you’re enjoying a happy today!? I’m supper happy because I’ve been drawing all day, just finished a wicked set of hands. I know I can get quite demoralised, but this is what I say to myself – winners never quit and quitters never win. At the end of the day I love working with blender, it is such an incredible tool.
I also wondered if you know how to duplicate objects without them being forever linked, and how to a save a picture with an invisible backing? xxx

If you use Alt d then an object is a linked duplicate.
If you use Shift d the object is just a copy.

A linked duplicate can be unlinked by selecting the object and then:

Main menu > Object > Relations > Make Single User > “Object & Data & Material”.

(because also material and mesh data were linked duplicates)
