please help i keep getting an error mesage i have updated or done anything

Did you look at the logs like the message suggests? Can you show us what is in the log folder?

Please do not save any projects in the Desktop folder. That’s a folder managed by Windows. It might be that Windows restricts the access or even deletes files. Always save your projects in a normal folder on your internal harddrive.
