He does not need fingers to pull the trigger- it is voice activated, set to the command work “bang!”

I meant to say “command word”, not work. One letter mistake makes all the difference in meaning!
You know, as with different apps for your phone or computer where you can say something to it, some word, and it starts or does something- like “open file” and the file opens. Or “turn on” and the phone/computer/gaming console turns on.
That is what I had in mind with the gun- say “bang”, and it fires, reducing the need to pull the trigger
