What was the idea behind this ‘fog’ …
Tried to make smoke trail from plane. Turned out to be harder than I thought.
Looks like you did a pretty good job. Emitter for fluid is parented to aeroplane so moving with it okay. Perhaps the emitter is emitting particles down rather than behind which should be easy to correct?
In Blender the emitter is called the Flow component. I think with Smoke/Outflow and use a plane [correctly orientated and parented to aeroplane] as the mesh from which to flow. I think that should work. This type of thing is covered in the last exercise of the VFX animations course which I still haven’t got around too completing.
It is mainly jets that produce a vapor trail and from planes it is more a sign of burning from damage. Good practice anyway.
