The red blocks are dropping, the purple balls are rolling, the blue spinners are spinning and the green blocks are blocking my way…
Here’s an idea…if you go back yo the Delivery Driver course and get the booster pads, that should be an easy way to make things tougher.
Nothing like trying to thread a needle, then all of the sudden, “Whoosh!” straight into a wall.
Just one idea…there are many other things you could do, too.
What is the Delivery Driver course? I have only done the “Making games from Scratch” before this one.
I have cleared out some obstacles and also timed them differently…
You’re right, my mistake. The Delivery Driver game is in the new 2D course.
I got them confused because I’ve been working in both courses. I’ve done both the Obstacle Course and the Delivery Driver projects a couple of times now and I get stuff mixed up.
Okay, here’s a different idea then to make your obstacle course a little more challenging…
Move on to the Project Boost game, then come back and make a boost mechanic to propel your player object. It’s just an idea using something that you’ll be encountering soon. Just another thought.
Oh, I understand now
I had in mind to re-do an Obstacle Course on my own, but as I would like to jump over obstacles for examples so I know I will need to wait a few more lessons to learn that. I was even considering turning the Obstacle Course as an “endless run” and avoiding different objects… But one thing at a time, I must not be too hasty.
Thank you for the tip though! I saw the intro for Project Boost and it looks like a tons of fun!
