You need higher resolution ,
Are you using a low and high poly model?

Or do you mean the mesh islands?

  • You have also triangle as a mesh, which works, but I would expect many quad faces.

What do mean by that, I used the method in the course, you need a high poly and a low poly.

The texture has white parts that exactly color some seams of the texture, is not smooth

True, but I didn’t recognize the model and therefor the course (lesson).
So I’m fishing here to get more clearer anwsers for problem solving.

Hard to say, what you mean. I see that the normal map mesh islands, do not fit to its neighbors (you refer as white spots?)

  • Are you sure, your mesh normals are OK?
  • Did you use an automated process to go from high to low poly?
  • Are you sure all seams do lead to an independent island?
Your “The texture” image, which is called a normal map has some shared vertices I believe. Meaning some islands are connected.

Do not select ‘cage’ unless you made one. Which method is not used in the course.
Use the (new) ‘Extrusion’ factor now near the Ray distance one. You can probably start with zero for Ray Distance. Extrusion is much more effective. Play with the numbers until it suits your model.
Make sure smooth shading is on both. Also normal map set to non colour.

I would definitely try what @NP5 and @FedPete said, and with a larger map because from what FedPete said, it may be too small to show all details. This said, I guess that showing the high-resolution sculpt would help locating the issue too.
