Are those guns in the back? Your back defense “backup” is a good design call in my mind if they are.

Wonderful. Now your Mech is safe from any sneak attacks or rear-ambushes. Hopefully the technicians built them to be automatic to some degree, otherwise if the Mech Operator is caught sleeping he might get surprised
