This is a very nice model. As usual NP5 and FedPete very knowledgeable in their comments about biomechanics of two legged walking. One of the advantages of animating walks is that they are not simulations so even if your model is physically unstable it will not fall over unless you key frame it to do so. It is another trait of 3D digital world that makes fantasy a reality. “Vive la difference”!

If your new version has ball joints at hips and ankles you could certainly introduce some more realistic weight shifting. I think emus, cassowaries and ostriches normally close their feet as they lift them to aid in weight transference [giving room for the feet to move inward towards weight bearing side].

Personally I find the mechanical articulation of these bird feet very nifty. Once again well done!
