Loving the cell shading effect. Also, the stairs on all sides look really good. Simple yet really elegant!
Thanks. I think it looks ok for now. Later I plan to build a more accurate and detailed model using texture maps (color, normal, specular etc.). Andrew Price has made some useful tutorials on setting up textures in blender https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W07H7xeUnGE. There are also some very valuable tutorials available on CG Cookie (https://www.cgcookie.com/categories/3d).
That is a great idea and good practice for making a model portfolio ready, something I am not very good at.
