I just finished the lighthouse scene from the Blender Beginner Bundle! 
I tried to make it a bit more spooky with the greenish lights, and I also added a boat. To my surprise, I didn’t struggle too much making it so the course works great to learn the basics of modeling!
I had a lot of fun, and I’m looking forward to continue this course

I see the small boat but is a little dark. It’d be great if you added a small lantern to it just so it shows better. It’s such a shame it is kind of blending in the dark and would be nice to see more of it.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that the boat is hard to see in the dark, I struggled a bit with the lighting 
I added a lantern like you suggested, and then increased the strenght of the area light that was already there. I think it’s a bit better now.
I mean, it is still dark but now your eyes are drawn to the lantern and tbe boat.
lighting is not easy.
It depends also on the calibration of your monitior … and personal creative freedom
