Wow! Great renders!

Thanks a lot. I’m a noob so any advice or criticisms are welcome

Very nicely done. I especially like the glass of beer. It looks very realistic.

I also recognize the coffee mug, as a friend on one of my 3D forums gave me the link to a tutorial to create a Cycles render of a coffee mug that looks like yours. I really like the way it came out, except even with 1000 samples, the inside of my mug still wasn’t without some artifacts. I have to try that one again one day.

Thanks  Andrew Price at Blender Guru has a lot of great tutorials on the site. He goes a little fast and doesn’t always explain everything I would like but fantastic none the less.

Yes, I have a link to Blender Guru’s video tutorials in a long (and growing) list for Blender Help, Forums and Tutorials at a 3D forum at which I’m a Community Volunteer. I’m always adding links when I find them, or someone else posts them in the 7 page thread on the site’s Blender subforum.

Wow those are amazing. I have a hard time believing your a noob. Well done. I would like to see more.

Thanks so much Tim. I started modelling earlier this week so I’ll have that noob status for the foreseeable future  It’s been a fantastic experience so far. I am truly amazed at what can be accomplished with Blender. It’s blowing my mind
