Here’s my version of the obstacle course!
I wanted it to focus more on speed running the short course. In the first section, there’s 2 wall protrusions you need to maneuver through while a ball rolls down as a preview of what’s to come…
The next section has a bunch of falling obstacles that you either need to outrun or weave through depending on when you reach this area.
Up next is a more challenging section with a bunch of spinners and rolling obstacles. Here, you can choose to go straight up to easily access the final passageway. Or you can brave through the spinners and rollers to access a narrow shortcut that leads directly to the goal.
With this project, I wanted to use what I’ve learned throughout the course section while also developing a game with a theme and player choice to allow for more expressive plays.
