Great theming and controls, you really nailed the movement making it heavy but no unfun and letting the player stay at control at all times.
That said, you must really limit the player, you can get lost easily in the first level going left or over the level, same when you go out of the second levels.
Also the second level is too long and makes dying at the end a chore. I recommend using checkoints or dividing the levels in shorter ones. Also the second level has a really long stretch that is a bit boring with the obstacle layout.
I think you can make something very good out of this.
