Great reference images.
I have no idea why Grant uses this odd, off to the side, images. If you wanted to you can add images as reference to the main 3d window and line them up properly behind and beside your sculpt.

As NP5 said, ADD Image > as reference.
But maybe, you are freewheeling … and didn’t follow the lessons?
