My first attempt at Difuse maps

I know the course is refreshed with Blender 2.8, But I still want to complete 2.7 out of my OCD. Excited to start 2.8 after this real soon.
Here’s my attempt at Diffuse maps.

Went for a Red-ish baked bricks look.

There is a blender build-in texture for bricks.

Yea I saw that during the course. I just followed along with the bump maps with the course.

Ok! good, I was mislead by the term “Diffuse maps”.
A brick image inputted into the diffuse map.
But you used the texture brick node.
