My final scene

Learned a lot here - knowing how to cut in circles is something that I was keen to figure out and then there it is in the very next section. Also good to understand translating via normals too - and here we are also starting to look at materials. I’ve already played with them before and managed to uvmap some simple models but if i’m honest, I was largely just randomly clicking stuff and making things work. Now I understand about material slots and assigning materials even though I haven’t mapped a texture so far, I am already better off than I was before.

I implemented the scene slightly differently, I found a scale diagram online, imported it as a background image and then just duplicated the pins in to position - quick and easy, if not entirely precise.

That’s pretty creative using the diagram, actually. I took the slow and painful crawl through using the array modifier for everything, but if you don’t need it to be 100% precise, that’s definitely A LOT quicker and easier! :smiley:
