Some specs, first:
I´m working on a mac book pro, iCore7 and I rendered a 6 sec. project, full hd (1920x1080), samples 50x50,Tiles 16x16 running on CPU. It took me almost 2 hours to render and the result is up to you to assess. The movie looks so much smoother than the gif…
Bottom line, another journey concluded.

I have fiddled around with Blender for a very long time knowing nothing about it and getting frustrated and deleting it LOL. I never got very far with YouTube tutorials and such but, my knowledge has been greatly expanded with this course and feel like I can actually create something now! You will too! Just takes practice.

I suppose it is part of the process to get a bit frustrated when we simply cannot put our vision into practice and yeah, I trashed quite a few files myself… but perseverance is important and this course also provided me some answers and knowledge to overcome any obstacle, along with some encouragement by friends.

Thanks, dka… your jumping lamp is pretty awesome,too… I particularly like its stressed personality. I suppose I get all fired up discovering the possibilities that blender has to offer and I’m already experimenting on something related to what I want to get from blender, which is animation.

That looks awesome! I would love to have the lamp looking at me at the end for a bit longer though… It looks kind of like “what is this?! can you help me?!”. It would give a bit more pleading look to it, I think… But you really did a great job here!
