My Final Bunny Renders

Initially my final render was this:

I used a free hdri file from https://hdrihaven.com/hdri/?c=nature&h=cape_hill for the background/lighting. I used a rocky ground texture from the “Pixar Texture Pack.zip” that is in this course under “Section:11 Continuing Your GameDev Journey.” As you can see, this render is trash. The lighting is focused on my bunny’s buns (not his best feature). The grass is too sparse. The ground texture look almost decent but is definitely not good. I didn’t spend the time or energy to do the fur nor the eyes properly. I would’ve been ashamed to have posted this alone, but alas I did go back to fix these problems to the best of my current abilities.

Its not perfect but it’s definitely an improvement. I repositioned the scene so the light is hitting the bunny’s face. I replace the eyes with ones that I made using this tutorial/resources https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0r0UnaIK_Y&t=8s (you should check out César Salcedo’s channel, excellent stuff on there). I redid the fur from scratch using multiple particle systems and vertex groups (as I should have done from the beginning). Added more grass to hide my sub-par ground. Overall, not to shabby, if I do say so myself. There are some flaws that could be ironed out, but I’ve already spent too much time on this one project and my computer has had enough trying to render this confounded file so I’m putting it to rest.

It helped a lot to go back. Great work!
yeah, it is good idea to not get stuck in small details and work with it forever.
keep it up!
