Hi all,
Had a short break from this course, but got around to it today a bit and wanted to show my result of the fence poles.
I Used the following node setup:
I found the original a little bit too colorless, so i upped it with the a color ramp and mainly recolored the lighter parts to a tiny bit more brown/redish (Hex: E3C9BC), could probably got the same result playing with a Hue/Saturation node.
and added a plane to the scene with a hair particle system on it to create some grass, which resulted in this :
