Out of interest, how could you remove the seams? Are they caused by mirroring?

I’m not totally sure why the seams look so visible, but I did mark the seams there. I guess I just didn’t notice they were so obvious until I posted the result. If I remember correctly I think Grant just Smart UV Project in the tutorial but I chose to manually mark the seams.

In another course Grant suggests using locations for seams, which aren’t easily visible. E.g., under an arm, or where clothing would have a seam.
