I wanted to create an animation, but still have to learn that part.

If you want criticism, the top of your rook looks bent because the crevices in the parapet (are those called crenels or merlons?) look move v shaped instead of rectangular. The leftmost bishop has some lighting or shading issues as well.
That said, it looks good. Chess is a game with ancient roots and this is a neat project!

Bishop’s mitre slot a degree wider than traditional.
You need to made the board more properly now.
Love the colour choices - very striking.
I’m guessing you decided not to go the low-poly route? In which case, it’s kind of strange the knight pieces don’t have ears…
Bishops appear overall too large - more the same size as the king and queen (there’s an argument to be made for socio-political commentary, but I doubt that was the intent).
