I cannot find the shadow exponent. I’m missing its settings to improve my lighting. I’m using version 2.81. Was it moved somewhere else? I need help

Pretty sure that was something that was removed as early as 2.81 as it got incorporated into the basic Shadows. They changed the way shadows worked.

Hi - I am new to blender and going through the course - had troubles with the same on blender v3.0 - for me, what was the break through (while nothing else worked) was to turn off the ‘Soft shadows’ property in Render Properties → Shadows. Increasing the Cube size to 2048px also made the shadows more ‘precise’.
It seems that Eevee evolved quite a bit since 2.7x - also the strength of light is like 10x smaller than in lecture (which is better now as more realistic, in my humble opinion)
