I hadn’t thought of mentally generating a scene that my character will be in until I listened to this lecture. I like Mike’s choice and is a simple yet effective character scene.
So, with his ideas, I have decided to make my character “The Old Gardener” as I like growing vegetables and flowers in my yard. Though I based my character on me (it is greatly exaggerated in appearance), I want to present him with trowel and watering can in his hands and possibly standing in front of a row of vegetables or some sort of garden plot (probably as a background image).
Now that I have set up the scene, I will have to get reference images of my trowel and pail as well as a good gardening Tee shirt and pants. This should be interesting.
Are we rigging these characters as well?
