I tried multiple times but I’m unable to make the fur look good

Using Hair Dynamics and making the body a collision object can help with the fur, but getting it right is like anything, time, patience and practice.
It does look good so far though.
Hair is tricky. It’s also noy really a thing someone can say dial in these numbers.
Many bald or thin patches. Add more children possibly. I have planted more (parent) hairs one by one in bald areas in the particle edit mode.
