I went for a more traditional side view with a smaller top platform, but I really like the rendering once used in a tilemap:
I need some variation for the center part, this is supposed to be a somewhat hard to see brick in the middle, but it should not be repeated like that and should just appear once in a while.
Edit: disabling filtering help to get back the crisps render:
