My bones affect entire body

so i have this weird bug, i remade 3 times the bones and still the same problem, any solution?

I remade the entire body, looks like my mesh was messed up for some reason…

Thanks guys i already do all those things and also another ones solutions, none worked but i’ve learned alot with this bug, next time i will probably use rigify or blenrig it’s amazing and easy

Probably down to weight painting, basically the auto weights not doing a good guess at the weights. That may be something odd about your original mesh, perhaps double geometry.

Well done finding a way through though.

Check if you have object scaling set to 1.
And if you did apply scale, but already had weight painted, the remove the weightpaint data and redo.

Did you have “Double geometry” or “Inside normals”?

Yes, while these problems are really annoying and mostly due to user errors.
It’s also very helpful in learning Blender. Repetition is the key. You’ll remember the process much better.
